Marci Selsberg of Blah Blah Blah has announced the start of a sales collaboration with Carolyn Hill of CarolynReps. The two agents, both based in the New York metropolitan area, have known each other for more than 25 years. As it happens, Selsberg and Hill both worked at the well-known animation studio Curious Pictures. They reconnected this summer at the Curious Pictures/Broadcast Arts reunion.

“Changes in the business have made alliances with people you trust all the more important,” Hill said. “Many times producers would reach out to me and say that Marci and I were the only people they called. I was ready to handle animation again. I did not want to call big companies on my own. This way, Marci stays the point of contact for the clients.” 

Selsberg agreed that the deal is about pooling resources. Blah Blah Blah will continue to draw on support from researcher and email specialist Ryan Haupt and agent Izzy Echeverria. “Carolyn and I have known and respected each other for more than 25 years, and we’ve each spent more than three decades building relationships and navigating this business. It felt like the right time to bring those worlds together. Carolyn brings incredible expertise on the live-action side, while I bring my focus on animation, VFX, AI, Experiential and Live Mix. It made sense for us to finally work together, pool our resources, and help our clients find the right creative solutions,” Selsberg said. 

“I enjoy my live action, production services and AI companies,” Hill added. “I have an extensive background in animation, having represented Blind, Rhythm & Hues and Curious Pictures. Working with Marci made more sense than pursuing those clients on my own.”
