DROOL Snaps Up Jasper Cable-Alexander

DROOL, the creative studio founded by Freddie Powell and Genevieve Sheppard, has snapped up sought-after director Jasper Cable-Alexander.

DROOL is a collective of directors and producers who bring the full team into every project — not just a single director. Like a wolfpack, they're hell-bent on getting the best out of every job for every client.

Jasper Cable-Alexander has lived and breathed film since his early days. His first film was a stop-motion animation that took 6 months at the age of 12, shortly followed by his second documentary film which ended up at Dublin’s Cinemagic Film Festival aged only 14.

His career catapulted after his hugely successful films for Floyd travel and luggage, created after his suitcase broke and connecting with the CEO of the company. Floyd “Elevating Every Journey Big or Small” has since won a succession of awards including the very first prestigious BOLT award at last year’s Young Arrows.

Jasper’s surreal worlds and humorous characters have made him one of the industry’s ‘faces to watch’.

Genevieve Sheppard, EP & Founder says, “We are delighted to welcome Jasper to the DROOL team sheet. He embodies all the joy, passion and enthusiasm we value at DROOL. He has an obsessive commitment to his craft and he pours his heart and soul into everything he does. We are thrilled he joined us at this very exciting time in DROOL’s latest chapter.”

Jasper Cable-Alexander says; “I was looking for a team that can support me and back my crazy ideas. Fred and Gen have so much incredible knowledge about the industry. Their dedication to pushing boundaries really excites me, while also remaining unbelievably kind and collaborative which made them stand out.”

Whilst the team is expanding, DROOL intends to stay small to focus on better not bigger. Watch this space…
