O.T. Hight Assumes Sales Leadership at Arsenal FX Color

Arsenal FX Color, a full-service post-production company with facilities in Santa Monica, Mexico City, Atlanta and Albuquerque, today announces that O.T. Hight, a co-founder of the company, is assuming a new role as Chief Revenue Officer.

In his new role, Hight will oversee sales and marketing for the company across all facilities as it continues to diversify and extend its reach to new markets. He will focus on servicing existing clients, developing new business and working with productions to take advantage of state and local tax incentive programs.

“Production for television, streaming and film is becoming more dispersed, tax incentive programs are expanding, and technology is evolving,” Hight says. “As a high-end boutique that is artist-owned, we have a lot to offer to productions seeking to work more efficiently without sacrificing creativity. We’re not a factory. We are dedicated to excellence, and we can adapt and make decisions quickly.”

Arsenal recently moved its Santa Monica headquarters to a new, 7,500 square foot, purpose-built facility. It features two editorial finishing suites, three color grading suites, a 4K DI theater and dedicated space for visual effects production and dailies services. Its facilities in Mexico City, Atlanta and Albuquerque have editorial, color and visual effects resources on site, as well as network connections to Santa Monica. The company plans to establish additional satellite facilities in markets in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. Recent projects include Man on FireInterior Chinatown, and Mayfair Witches.

Hight is transitioning from a career as a visual effects artist spanning two decades. His more than 120 streaming, television and film credits include Silicon ValleyBallers and Rules of Engagement. He received his initial training in television production while serving in the U.S. Army and began his career with Video, Post & Transfer, Dallas. After relocating to the West Coast, he joined Digital Magic and later was a senior artist at West Wind Media and Level 3 Post. In 2010, he joined Larry Field in founding Arsenal FX Color.

“We’ve built excellent teams in visual effects and post, making this a good time to redirect my energies,” Hight observed. “It’s an exciting opportunity for me and good for the future of the company.”
