Reverie Content Welcomes The Director Brothers

Reverie Content is thrilled to welcome comedy powerhouse The Director Brothers to their roster. Josh Martin and Ryan McNeely, who cut their teeth at Funny or Die, bring their distinctive brand of humor to Reverie’s growing family of creative talent.
The Director Brothers have a knack for the extraordinary–they drop everyday characters into fantastical situations, blending old-school stunts with motion graphics and VFX to create cinematic worlds that feel both familiar and wonderfully strange. Their impeccable comedic timing elevates everything they touch, whether it's a quick commercial spot or longer-form content, where sharp dialogue and perfectly executed visual gags leave audiences wanting more.
They created and directed The Gorburger Show for Comedy Central, featuring an extraterrestrial monster hosting a Japanese variety talk show in a quest to understand humanity. They also created the visually stunning Neon Dimension YouTube series for German comedian Flula Borg, and built an impressive body of work with projects spanning HBO, Comedy Bang! Bang!, and Ed Helms’ Electric Picture Company. Most recently, they reunited with Flula Borg for a Little Caesars campaign, featuring a reality show parody where contestants compete to win a pretzel crust pizza, and worked on Del Real’s Cinco de Mayo campaign, set in a bilingual call center where abuelas field calls on topics they know best—making authentic tacos and wondering why someone's son isn't married yet.
The Director Brothers frequently collaborate with celebrity talent, tailoring each performer’s comedic style to suit the project. Their commercial work includes campaigns for Thrifty with Kenan Thompson, Kia Optima with Jeff Goldblum and Blake Griffin, Pepto Bismol with Dr. Ken Jeong, and Pepsi Test Drive with Jeff Gordon. They have also worked with brands such as Old Milwaukee, Jack in the Box, Cap’n Crunch, Skullcandy, GameStop, Booking.com, and Uber Eats.
“We couldn’t be more amped to be joining the Reverie roster,” remarks The Director Brothers. “Hope to see you all on set and/or the race track soon.”
Rich Pring, Partner and Executive Producer of Reverie Content adds, “As influential early longtime creators and directors at Funny or Die, Ryan and Josh shaped the humor mainly found on digital platforms. Add in their episodic comedy shows for television and YouTube, and you’ll see why we feel the Director Brothers are primed for the range of agency and brand collaborations, comedy, and deliverables currently out in the world.”
