Scheme Engine Expands Commercial Leadership with Appointment of Mercedes Allen-Sarria
Scheme Engine expands commercial leadership with appointment of Mercedes Allen-Sarria. As Executive Producer, Mercedes Allen-Sarria joins Jannie McInnes in leading the company's commercial division. The appointment marks the culture-first company’s next phase of growth in advertising, music and original content.

Allen-Sarria brings more than two decades of experience in award-winning projects for some of the industry's most respected production companies. Most recently Executive Producer at Imposter, she previously served as Head of Production and Executive Producer at Biscuit Filmworks before leading Immersive Entertainment at HELO. Throughout her career, she has guided ambitious, innovative work while cultivating trusted creative partnerships with directors, agencies and brands.
Founded in New York, Scheme Engine champions a diverse roster of iconic filmmakers and a new generation of talent, working fluidly across multiple formats and executions in an evolving creative landscape. Their work has earned recognition at Cannes, The One Show, AICP, D&AD, the Grammys, MTV VMAs and the Critics Choice Awards.
“Mercedes is one of those rare executives who sees the whole picture,” says Jannie McInnes. “She’s an exceptional producer who also understands where the business is going. As our roster and ambitions grow across diverse and emerging forms of storytelling, Mercedes adds firepower to what’s next for Scheme.”

“What drew me to Scheme is this incredible body of work spanning a range of creative formats,” says Mercedes Allen-Sarria. “As the industry moves away from traditional production silos, the challenge isn’t predicting the next model, but having the flexibility to follow great creative wherever it wants to go. Scheme is already built for that, and that’s exactly why I was so excited to come here and build on it together.”
