Spain's DOC7OR 7ROY Enters the US Market; Adds New Directors and Reps

After more than two decades providing international production services and producing commercials for the European market, DOC7OR 7ROY is moving into the U.S. market with a new slate of directors and U.S. representation.

The U.S. roster includes an international offering of directors, featuring directing team Josh & Xander, Finn McGough, Axel Laubscher (East Coast only),and directing team Choeur (for U.S. Hispanic market only), along with Spanish/European directors Dani Fortuny, Alvaro de la Herran, Felix Fernandez de Castro, Gideon Merz, Gunther Gheeraert, and the Argentinian duo Welcome. They will be represented nationally by Minerva, the representation company led by co-founders Shauna Seresin and Mary Knox as well as Victoria Venantini.

“We’ve spent more than 20 years building DOC7OR 7ROY around a simple idea: Great directing talent shouldn’t be limited by geography,” said company founder/CEO Santiago Morali. “The U.S. is the natural next step for us, and partnering with Minerva gives our roster the local relationships and market knowledge to do it right. This isn’t just an expansion on paper — it’s a roster we genuinely believe can compete at the highest level in the United States.”

The new U.S. roster spans a wide range of disciplines, including generative AI, visual storytelling, documentary, comedy, performance-driven work, and photography. Several directors on the roster have received multiple awards. Most recently, McGough won a Silver Arrow at the British Arrow awards for a Volkswagen campaign celebrating the unique relationship between drivers and their cars.

DOC7OR 7ROY has also received international recognition, including Silver Club de Creativos and Bronze El Sol awards for a Euromillions lottery campaign and most recently a Gold Award in the Tourism Destinations category from the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT) for its film, “No Joy in Life is Small,” starring Antonio Banderas, for the Andalusian Tourism Office.

Before founding DOC70R 7R0Y, Morali built his career through international co-productions with renowned production companies such as Radical Media and providing production services for Academy Films, Park Pictures, Rogue Films, and agency Jack Morton, among others. He has worked alongside directors including Jeff Darling, Michael Karbelnikov, and Bruce Hunt on international campaigns for leading brands such as Coca-Cola, BMW, Audi, Nike, General Electric, Loewe, Saint Laurent, Burberry, Kenzo, Adidas, Dior, and Budweiser.

Morali first met Minerva co-founder Seresin several years ago at the Cannes Lions Festival. What began as a conversation about the evolving production landscape eventually developed into a partnership, leading to the launch of DOC7OR 7ROY’s U.S. roster.

“I’ve admired Santi’s creative eye and the exceptional roster he has built ever since we first met,” said Seresin. “With its Barcelona roots, bilingual capabilities, and international perspective, DOC7OR 7ROY is well positioned for a U.S. market that increasingly seeks storytelling that moves authentically across cultures. It brings a fresh, global sensibility to today’s multicultural creative landscape, and we’re thrilled to help build their presence in the U.S."

Added Morali, “The U.S. has always been part of my DNA — I was educated at the American School of Barcelona, and that early connection to American culture never left me. For D0C7OR 7ROY, entering the U.S. market isn't just a business decision, it's a natural progression. If you can compete here, you can compete anywhere. And I believe our roster is ready."
