A$AP Rocky Taps Little Minx in New Short Film for Ray-Ban Featuring Nas

Ray-Ban Creative Director A$AP Rocky drops his new “Metal Collection” of glasses with a short film he directed with Malik Hassan Sayeed, who is represented for commercials by Little Minx.

In the clip, Nas and A$AP Rocky meet in a Harlem diner to discuss the latter’s new position as the brand’s creative director and showcasing his new line of frames. Little Minx director Cuba Tornado Scott handled stills for the shoot.

The Ray-Ban film captures a nostalgic ‘90s look and feel, in keeping with the new collections’ bold metal frames and rimless styles echoing vintage designs popular in that era, characterized by soft, oval curves and narrow rectangles.

The overall tone of the collection is pared-back and luxurious, forgoing chunky frames for slimmer silhouettes, accentuated by metallic details.
