Director Ivan Jurado Joins SixTwentySix
The director whose work spans Coca-Cola, UNIQLO, and Nike, in partnership with agencies such as DAVID, Havas and BBDO, strengthens the studio’s international creative firepower
SixTwentySix has signed internationally recognized director Ivan Jurado, adding a globally established, agency-trusted filmmaker to its growing roster of cinematic storytellers.
Jurado’s work spans collaborations with leading agencies including DAVID, McCann, Ogilvy, Havas, DDB, and BBDO, among others. His films have brought campaigns to life for global brands such as Coca-Cola, Nike, BMW, UNIQLO, Ikea, McDonald’s, Toyota, Vodafone, Puma, Loewe, Audi, MINI, Nestlé and FC Barcelona.

Known for a directing style that is contemporary, dynamic and visually refined, Jurado balances rich cinematic craft with an effortless warmth. His films carry an energy that feels both composed and alive. He has a rare ability to make the physicality of his subjects feel inseparable from the narrative itself, drawing out charm, confidence and natural swagger in ways that feel authentic rather than performed.
“Ivan’s work has scale and polish, but it never loses humanity,” says SixTwentySix co-founder Jake Krask. “He understands brand storytelling at the highest level, yet every frame still feels intimate and intentional. That balance is powerful.”
“Ivan has a very controlled eye,” adds SixTwentySix cofounder Austin Barbera. “But what impressed us most is how intentional his work feels. Nothing is accidental. There’s always a reason behind the frame.”
Jurado began his career in advertising photography, where years spent studying composition, light and frame control shaped the foundation of his visual language. While on set, he often found himself thinking beyond the still image, questioning how the moment would unfold in motion and what emotional rhythm would make it resonate. That instinct ultimately led him toward directing, where he has steadily evolved from crafting striking visual moments to building cohesive, story-driven worlds.
His background in advertising gives him a uniquely collaborative approach. Having worked closely with agencies across Europe, the United States and Asia, Jurado understands the strategic framework behind a campaign while still protecting the emotional core of the film. That empathy and enthusiasm have made him a trusted creative partner on sets around the world.
For Jurado, the most rewarding part of directing is the human connection. A call from Japan might lead to a production in Thailand. Weeks later, he could be sitting in Canada with an entirely different crew, united by the same commitment to craft. Those cross-cultural experiences continue to shape his perspective and fuel his creative instincts.

He draws inspiration from travel and from small, often overlooked details in everyday life. The way people move through space. The objects they surround themselves with. The rhythm of a conversation in a crowded market. These observations quietly inform his work, grounding even the most polished campaign in something recognizably human.
“SixTwentySix has built a reputation for championing strong creative voices,” Jurado says. “What drew me in was the commitment to craft and collaboration. I’m excited to push the work further together and continue evolving my visual language within a team that values both precision and personality.”

With Jurado’s signing, SixTwentySix strengthens its international footprint and reinforces its commitment to directors who operate comfortably at the intersection of global brand scale and deeply considered cinematic storytelling.
