Matt Miller, President and CEO of AICP, announced today that Gloria Pitagorsky, Managing Partner at the audio post-production studio, Heard City, has been named Chairperson of the 2026 AICP Post Awards. Additionally, AICP has announced the full lineup of industry experts who will serve on the AICP Post Awards Curatorial Committee.
The entry deadline for the AICP Post Awards, along with the AICP Show: The Art & Technique of the Commercial, and the AICP Next Awards, is March 11, 2026. Full entry details can be found here. The results of each show will debut during AICP Week in New York, from June 2 to June 4, and be featured at a gala celebration at The Museum of Modern Art on June 4, 2026.
“Gloria has been involved in many aspects of the organization,” noted Miller. “Her ability to affect positive change both within the AICP and the post community overall has helped drive various important initiatives. We’re excited to have her bring that same level of passion and commitment to her role as the Chair of the AICP Post Awards.”

Gloria is on the National Board and East Board of Directors for AICP and also serves on the AICP Post Council, the Mentoring Subcommittee, and the Women’s Forum Committee, helping foster community and collaboration within the industry.
Gloria is a dedicated New Yorker and community advocate who is passionate about philanthropy and social causes. She spearheads the AICP East Chapter volunteer efforts for the Food Bank for New York City, of which she is also a Board member. Gloria is a 30-year industry vet who, alongside her partner Philip Loeb, founded Heard City in 2012 and has since turned it into one of the industry’s top-performing audio post companies. As Managing Partner, she guides the company’s success across advertising, television, and film, with sound design and audio mix on numerous major award-winning ad campaigns and films.
Demonstrating her commitment to mentoring and supporting women in technology, film, and advertising, Gloria also serves on the mentoring committee for She Runs It and the Board of Directors for The Future of Film is Female, an organization committed to advancing female filmmakers by offering grants alongside film screening series at The Museum of Modern Art. She has also traveled to Guatemala as an Ambassador for Every Mother Counts, a nonprofit aiming to make childbirth safe for every mother, everywhere. Additionally, she is a member of the Board of Directors for the New York Women’s Foundation, an organization that works tirelessly to uplift women and girls throughout New York City, and recently joined the Board of Puppy Kitty NYC, an animal rescue organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating sick and injured homeless cats and dogs
“I am honored to chair the AICP Post Awards,” Pitagorsky said. “I've been in the business for a long time, and it’s a privilege to be in a room with colleagues who have watched you grow from an assistant to running your own company and being asked to be the chair for the AICP Post Awards. I know this is quite a responsibility. I’m ready for the challenge.”
2026 AICP Post Awards Curatorial Committee:
One of Gloria’s key responsibilities as Chair is to form the AICP Post Awards Curatorial Committee, which will determine the selection of the final winners, including the Best of Show. Gloria says her approach to working with her committee will be one of guidance and inclusion.
“There are so many incredible folks in our industry – the secret is finding leaders who have strong opinions that they're going to share at critical moments,” Pitagorsky added. “I've been in that room before as a Curator, and it's remarkable to walk out of those sessions having learned something new. Whether you've been in the industry for 10, 20, or 30 years, they bring their experience, which leads to an insight you didn't see coming. When you get to the end of it all and decide the great work that year will live forever in the MoMA archives, you realize the great responsibility of what we’re doing.”
In addition to Gloria, the AICP Post Awards Curatorial Committee includes post artists and executives from a range of crafts. This year’s committee includes:
Dave Anderson, Editor, Arcade Edit; Ayumi Ashley, Senior Colorist, Rare Medium; Sam Ballardini, Designer/Art Director, PSYOP; Yvette Cobarrubias, Managing Partner/Owner, Cosmo Street Editorial; Magdalena Hernández, Editor, Cutters; Nathan Hoad, Executive Producer, Untold Studios; Celeste Holt, Founder/Chief Content Officer, Futura Collective; Ben Jordan, Partner/Editor, Work Editorial; JJ Lask, Co-Founder/Editor, PS 260; Phil Loeb, Sound Designer/Mix Engineer/Partner, Heard City; Christopher McLallen, Executive Producer/Head of Content, M+C Saatchi North America; Mollie Mills, Director, somesuch; Emily Moore, Executive Producer, Google; Kevin Mulroy, Partner/Executive Creative Director, Mischief; Matt Nelson, Managing Director, Store Front Music; Stacy Peterson, Editor, Cut+Run; James Razzall, President, Advertising North America, Framestore; Steve Rodriguez, Senior Colorist/Founding Partner, Apache; and Steve Rosen, Sound Designer/Mix Engineer/Partner, Sonic Union.
The AICP Post Awards presents plaques to the post-production artists credited with the work in 25 categories covering editorial, music and sound, color grading, design, visual effects, and finishing.

“What I love about the AICP Post Awards is you are showcasing someone's work, the specialty the artist has mastered over the years,” Pitagorsky notes. “When you put it all together, all of these individual post talents craft the final result. If you don't have a great cut, if you don't have a powerful score or sound design, or immersive visual effects, the story doesn’t work. All of the individual talents have to come together to create something great. That’s why the show’s spotlight on the craft is so important.”
Each year, The AICP Show, The AICP Next Awards, and the AICP Post Awards are preserved in The Museum of Modern Art’s Department of Film’s state-of-the-art archives for future generations to study and are available for use or exhibition by the museum’s curators. All individual works and each year’s shows in their entirety can be viewed exclusively here.
To be eligible, work must have first aired or launched between March 5, 2025, and March 17, 2026. The results of each show will debut during AICP Week in New York, from June 2 to June 4, and be featured at a gala celebration at The Museum of Modern Art on June 4, 2026.
