Shortlist Mgmt is a talent management company representing directors, editors, and creative talent for commercial and branded content. Since 2003, Shortlist has focused on production and post-production, collaborating with agencies and brands to deliver exceptional projects.

Shortlist’s founding partner, Charlie McBrearty, is committed to fostering creative excellence and continues to significantly impact the commercial production industry. McBrearty is deeply committed to the industry’s growth and excellence, serving as the co-governor of the Commercials Peer Group at the Television Academy, the organization behind the Emmy Awards. In this role, he actively contributes to shaping the future of commercial content and recognizing outstanding achievements in the field. Shortlist partner and sales representative Kelly O’Neill leverages her extensive industry experience to foster relationships between creative professionals and clients, ensuring the successful execution of diverse projects. Her commitment to excellence has been instrumental in positioning Shortlist as a trusted partner in the commercial and branded content sectors.

Chiara Chung launched Chiara Chung Co. in 2019 and added partner Gunder Kehoe shortly after. Chung and Kehoe partner with industry companies to strategically align them with the most innovative and groundbreaking work in the marketplace. They focus on meaningful collaborations between top-tier creative talent and iconic brands across various industry segments.

Chung has almost twenty years of experience in the advertising industry, having spent over thirteen years in-house at Radical Media. During her in-house tenure, she brokered global, award-winning, multi-platform brand campaigns along with interactive and experiential initiatives and installations. Chung began her career in Chicago on the agency side at world-renowned J. Walter Thompson. Kehoe spent nearly twenty years in the entertainment industry, helping manage and guide the careers of several prominent Hollywood actors and directors. In 2020, he pivoted to advertising, reuniting with Chung, his former college classmate from the University of Notre Dame.

Pamala Buzick Kim has relaunched MAVEN, reviving the talent agency to represent bold studios, artists, and content for distinctive brand collaborations. Founded in 2010, MAVEN established itself as the sales arm for leading production, music, VFX, and editorial companies—driving over $600 million in business.  Now, with Eva McCloskey and MaryAnn Feierstein joining as partners, this new era of MAVEN is dedicated to artists and brands that refuse to follow the current – those who are rewriting the rules and championing bold, auteur-driven storytelling.

Buzick Kim is a Korean-American leader operating at the intersection of creativity, innovation, and growth. Previously, she served as Executive Director of FREE THE WORK, spearheading programs to promote diversity in media production and support underrepresented creators in making their voices heard.  In response to the devastation caused by the Los Angeles wildfires, she recently co-founded #STAYinLA, a grassroots movement rallying industry workers, business owners, and policymakers to keep the city’s creative economy thriving. A bold yet empathetic leader, she serves on the boards of CA United, Black Entertainment Economic Council, and Green the Bid, and her latest ANA presentation earned a historic rating.
