Mr. Bronx Promotes Michael Artuso to Associate Mixer

New York-based audio post studio Mr. Bronx has promoted Michael Artuso from Assistant to Associate Mixer. Under the guidance of Mr. Bronx Founder and Mixer David Wolfe and Senior Mixer and Sound Designer Geoff Strasser, Artuso has honed his skills and cultivated a distinctive, artistically driven approach to audio post production.

His promotion follows a period of strategic growth at Mr. Bronx, which last year brought on industry veteran Zach Fortin as Executive Producer to expand business development and creative capabilities.

Over the past three years, Artuso has worked on campaigns for major brands, including Super Bowl spots for Häagen-Dazs and Duracell, Oscar campaign spots for Samsung, and additional projects for Tito’s and Aviation Gin. He has also mixed films set to premiere this month, including Saint Andrews at the San Francisco Film Festival and The Traveler at the Cincinnati Film Festival.

When speaking about his time at Mr. Bronx, Michael shares, “In the ever-evolving world of audio post, working at Bronx Audio has given me the tools to better my craft while also researching and implementing new strategies. Throughout my journey here, I've had the opportunity to collaborate with some truly remarkable people, and I could not be more excited to see what's next.”

Dave Wolfe notes, “Michael’s promotion highlights our ongoing growth and innovation at Mr. Bronx. It’s exciting to see team members like Michael thrive, bringing fresh ideas and creative energy to everything we do. Coming out of college, Michael was already incredibly technically savvy. He was eager to combine new technologies with his art, and he accomplishes that goal every day. His journey is a perfect example of how our team is growing, leveraging technology, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the industry.”

Before joining Mr. Bronx Audio Post in 2022, Artuso built a diverse portfolio in sound design and mixing. While studying at Hofstra University, he gained hands-on experience mixing music, designing sound for film, and working on theatrical productions—including both musicals and straight plays. By his senior year, he had developed a strong portfolio, which led him to apply for a position at Mr. Bronx, seizing the opportunity to further his career in audio post-production.
