Park Pictures, 72andSunny Pursue a Monkey for E*TRADE

E*TRADE has partnered with investment bank Morgan Stanley to offer its users a deeper set of financial tools, and to promote this new relationship they’ve teamed with 72andSunny and Park Pictures to create “The Pursuit.” Directed by Nathan Price for Park Pictures and edited by Akiko Iwakawa of Rock Paper Scissors / MakeMake, it’s part of the brand’s “More to Love” campaign, will run during the NFL Playoffs and beyond.

In the spot, we see a family on an exotic vacation that’s interrupted when a capuchin monkey swipe’s mom’s wedding ring and takes off. Dad leaps into action and guess what? He chases that monkey around like he’s James Bond, scaling walls, vaulting wide gaps and parkouring his way across their luxury resort until the one ring to rule them all is back in his possession.  The key payoff is that finding out that E*TRADE is backed by the power of Morgan Stanley is like discovering that your husband is a parkour master.

In addition to breaking on the NFL post season broadcasts, “The Pursuit” will run during some of Q1’s biggest events, including NBA regular season games and the NCAA March Madness basketball tournaments, and will be featured across various media channels.
