Simian Unveils Dashboard, Reel Library, Analytics, Notification Upgrades
New Simian updates greatly improve functionality and usability of reel library, dashboard, viewer analytics and user notifications

Simian, the showreel-building, reel analytics and review & approval platform used globally by creative leaders in advertising, has launched a series of product redesigns, updates and enhancements to streamline how users manage reels, analytics and team/client communication.
“The first thing any Simian user will notice when logging into their account is our completely overhauled dashboards for both reels and projects,” says Brian Atton, Simian’s Chief Operating Officer. “These can be selected on the home screen for a better pulse on prospect activity and client review status, respectively. Both dashboards also include a feed displaying the latest news from The Howler.”

Brian discusses the value of the Reels Dashboard, “Simply put, it is the ultimate hub for winning jobs. The Reels Dashboard puts your most pertinent analytics front-and-center – Hot Reels, Today’s Reels and Zombie Reels – making it easier than ever to track performance and see what’s working, as well as what needs to be worked on.”
Simian’s Chief Technology Officer, Jay Brooks elaborates on the Projects Dashboard, “This is your one-stop shop for project management; it keeps you in the loop with recent project activity, file lifecycles and detailed notifications to keep communication and collaboration efficient.”
Notifications have also been upgraded with a dedicated page displaying an all-encompassing overview of team and client activity for both Reels and Projects. Jay explains, “Clicking the notifications bell will now redirect to a full notifications page, allowing users to filter by notification type. This ensures team members will never miss anything important.”
Simian’s Reel Library offers a clearer user experience by placing important actions where users can easily find them. “We understand every little time-saver adds up when you’re looking at reels all day,” says Kellie Atton, Head of Sales at Simian. “That’s why we’ve upgraded the Reel Library with a smarter, faster interface so you can focus more on finding work and less on looking for buttons.”

The same treatment has been given to Simian’s Analytics page. Kellie adds, “We’ve put all the most pertinent reel information; send dates, opens, views and downloads at the top of the screen for quicker access. It’s easier than ever to access user engagement on specific spots, letting you see exactly what prospects are watching, rewatching and skipping so you can know what scenes resonate and make smarter sales decisions.”
