Songbird Creative Launched by Julie Hurwitz

Julie Hurwitz, music industry veteran, has unveiled Songbird Creative, a music strategy agency offering synch licensing, clearance services and strategic consulting for companies, artists and catalogue owners looking to navigate the world of music.

Before launching Songbird, Julie was President of Global Synch and Creative Operations at Hipgnosis Song Management. There, she represented some of the world’s most beloved music, building internal systems, partnerships and developing team structure. Prior to Hipgnosis, Julie spent more than a decade at Kobalt Music Group, where she was Co-Head of Synch and Brand Partnerships, managing the global synch team and negotiating millions of dollars of artist and brand licenses, numerous Super Bowl commercials and Presidential campaigns.
