Warren & Nick Click with Original Branded Entertainment

Original Branded Entertainment has added the directing team of Warren du Preez & Nick Thornton Jones to their talent roster. Billed as artists, photographers and directors, their work can be found on the OBE website here

“We have a fondness for directing duos because they manage to get through so much work," says Executive Producer Jeremy McWilliams, one of the founders of Original. "This pair, however, take the biscuit. It’s easy to assume that they’re annoyingly arty and pretentious types, but they’re really not. They’re a fine pair of chaps with brains the size of Britain and immensely good taste. When we met them, we clicked instantly. Then we looked through their ridiculously vast body of different kinds of work and we were speechless.

“We love polymaths and the more hyphenates, the better,” McWilliams continues. “But Warren & Nick take it to a new level. On their work for Louis Vuitton, they showed they could do Unreal Engine people and character animation, 3D posters, commercials, socials and Augmented Reality. There really isn’t anyone who comes close to that range of talent.”

“The pair specialize in blending fine art photography – they’ve published four folio books – with cutting-edge technological mastery to create imagery that is unimaginable,” adds Tom Whitehead, OBE’s Managing Director and Producer. “These cross-sector creative collaborations are what Warren & Nick are all about. As a duo, they embody a new era of craft that transcends traditional methods and sectors.”

Their photography has appeared in a wide range of leading media outlets, including Dazed, I-D, The New York Times, Numero, Visionaire and Vogue.  They’ve exhibited at the ICA, the National Portrait Gallery, Saatchi Gallery, Somerset House and Venice Biennale. Their work has also netted them a Cannes Lions Grand Prix.

As a team, Warren & Nick have worked with such iconic global brands as Absolut, BMW, Boucheron, Cacharel, Cartier, Hennessey, Hermès, Issey Miyake, Lancôme, Levi’s, Louis Vuitton, Mercedes, Thierry Mugler, Nike, Shiseido, Shu Uemura, Vacheron Constantin and Veuve Clicquot.  For a deeper dive into their stills and motion work, go here
