Papercut Welcomes Editor Ben Corfield
Papercut announces it has signed Ben Corfield to its roster for US representation. Ben’s cutting is visceral, exciting, and immediate: instinct and craft in equal measure.
Corfield was most recently the editor behind Coca-Cola’s “No Better Feeling,” the brand’s kickoff spot for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and one of the most-seen commercials on television this year. Directed by frequent collaborator Rich Hall of Riff Raff Films, the spot swings from despair to elation as a reversed call turns a match on its head, and Corfield’s cut is what makes that swing land, building tension act by act until it breaks wide open into pure release. It’s the kind of high-craft, high-adrenaline editing Papercut was built to represent.

Ben grew up in Lancaster, UK, before moving to London and working his way up through post houses to become a sought-after editor whose cuts reflect instinct and craft in equal measure, an intuitive storyteller who mines each director’s vision out of hours of footage in service of the moment that actually matters.
His editorial craft has earned three awards outright: a Silver Creative Circle, a Bronze Kinsale Shark, and a Bronze LIA for “The Journey,” a Merck film on the effects of microplastics. His brand work spans Nike, Virgin, PlayStation, ICC, Samsung, Apple, Tuborg, Volt, and Leica, plus the cinematic promo “Everything or Nothing” for the Crawford vs. Madrimov fight, as well as the music video for Depeche Mode’s “People Are Good,” winner of Best Alternative Video, UK at the 2024 UKMVAs.
That range (commercial polish, music-driven emotion, high-stakes storytelling) is a natural extension of the Papercut aesthetic: hand-wrought, unpretentious, built around the cut that finds the truth in the footage rather than imposing one on it. Signing Corfield doesn’t just add a name to the roster; it sharpens what Papercut stands for.
“When I edit, I like to dig in and be very thorough with the footage,” says Ben Corfield. “Papercut shares the same hand-wrought process I like to bring to the edit bay. From the leadership to my rostermates, I feel very well matched here, and I look forward to getting to work.”
“I was instantly drawn to Ben’s edits,” says Biff Butler, Papercut Co-Founder. “He’s raising the bar on what a cut can do: the energy, the risk, the sheer feeling he gets into every frame. I can’t wait to be cutting alongside him.”
“Ben is a rare talent, someone who brings both meticulous craft and genuine warmth to every project he touches,” adds Brandee Probasco, Papercut Co-Founder and Executive Producer. “He’s already delivering some of the most visible work on television right now, and we’re excited to help take his career to the next level here in the United States.”
