SAGA Launches – Where Senior Talent, Creative Ambition and Joy Meet

SAGA, a new creative studio specializing in CG design and animation, officially launches today with the release of its debut manifesto film.

Founded by Executive Producer, Ashley Monaghan (ex Hornet) and Creative Director, Joey Recoskie (ex Tendril), SAGA is built around a small, senior-led team working closely from concept to final frame. The studio’s model removes layers between creative and execution, allowing ideas to move quickly, clearly, and with greater creative continuity throughout the process.

“We know how hard this industry can be”, says Monaghan, “so a big part of building SAGA was to create an environment where talented people can work on creatively ambitious work, while bringing some fun back into the process.”

Launching alongside the studio is their Manifesto film, a cinematic exploration of material, motion, and form across product, automotive, and fashion. Rather than functioning as a traditional portfolio reel, the film establishes the visual language and creative perspective behind the studio.

SAGA enters the industry at a moment when brands and agencies are increasingly looking for more direct and collaborative creative partnerships, combining high-end craft with a more agile and flexible way of working.

The studio will work across brand, product, and digital projects, with a focus on design-led storytelling, visual systems, and cinematic CG execution.
