Cut+Run Signs Resource as New West Coast Reps
Cut+Run announces that it has partnered with Resource for sales representation on the West Coast.
Founded by Dana Balkin and led by her and her business partner, Allie O’Brien, Resource has worked with commercial companies that create live-action, animation, tabletop, and experiential campaigns since 2002. Resource has cultivated a reputation for representing standout advertising talent, including Biscuit Filmworks, Epoch Films, Good Behavior, and Partizan, among others—and now Cut+Run.
“Cut + Run is one of those rare companies that has shaped our industry rather than simply existed within it,” shares Resource’s Allie O’Brien. “Their legacy speaks for itself, and we are honored to partner with them as we continue to grow and create together. This is just the beginning of what we know will be an extraordinary chapter for both of us.”

Cut+Run was founded in 1997 by award-winning editor Steve Gandolfi. Since then, Cut+Run has set the standard for post-production through its commitment to craft and curiosity. In shaping bold, cinematic storytelling through deep creative partnerships, Cut+Run has become a prized collaborator within the industry. Cut+Run’s recent work includes “Expedition Impossible” for Columbia Sportswear, a 2026 Grand Clio winner, Xbox’s “Wake Up,” which won Gold at the One Show and Clio Awards, and Super Bowl spots for Southwest Airlines and Homes.com. Other commercial highlights include Microsoft Windows, Progressive, Duracell, Geico, Apartments.com, AT&T, KAYAK, ESPN, and Hershey’s.
Cut+Run’s Managing Partner, Amburr Farls, remarks on their new reps, “Some partnerships just make sense. Two companies, decades of craft, one shared drive for excellence. Resource has navigated this industry with the same grit and grace that defines us, and their taste and intention have always set them apart. We are thrilled to have this opportunity to work together. Welcome to the fam, Resource."
