Picture North Signs Director Kevin Oh
Picture North welcomes Kevin Oh to its roster of filmmaking talent. An observational director known for his detailed composition and narrative timing, Kevin’s films are grounded in real moments and subtle performances that drive every film forward.
Originally a physics instructor, the pull towards storytelling brought Kevin to the world of advertising, and with it, the opportunity to direct. Often immersing himself in every part of a campaign, Kevin designs everything to serve the goal of creating something that feels honest, lived-in, and quietly impactful. He is invested in refining every detail, then opening himself to watching what happens on set and directing the film as it evolves in the moment. Kevin draws inspiration from human relationships and the in-between moments of interaction, chasing scenes that feel special.

Kevin has directed commercials for top brands, including Adidas, Coca-Cola, Disney, FIFA, Google, Nike, Jack Daniels, and a Puma campaign starring Rosé from Blackpink. A well-rounded filmmaker, Kevin is also an accomplished DP and photographer, allowing him to step into many roles on a project and meaningfully collaborate with nearly every department.
