H/L Announces 2026 Kinetic Academy Internship Program
Independent full-service ad agency H/L proudly announces this year’s Kinetic Academy Internship Program. Recruiting from across the country, the popular hands-on immersive program invites its interns to collaborate with H/L on real client projects. 2026 marks the program’s 12th year in operation.
With its summer session set for June 8, 2026, to August 14, 2026, interns will gain firsthand experience across all H/L departments, develop skills and strengths, and build confidence. This year’s participants are Carly Knopf, Jack Kenny, Sydney Stevens, Carly Goldblatt, Beckett Hayes, Michael Smith, Lena Bangue-Tandet, Dean Spell, Gabriella Enriquez, and Taylor Whitmore. Over the course of ten weeks, interns will be assigned to a department, where they will work independently and alongside H/L professionals, learning all aspects of that role by working across different client accounts.

Each intern will be matched with a mentor who will provide weekly check-ins and counsel throughout the program. In addition to working within their H/L department teams, the interns will also collaborate with the full intern team on various group projects. At the end of this program, each intern will present their final portfolio of work to senior leadership.
“This program is designed to help our interns identify the career path they want to pursue within advertising,” remarks Trey Curtola, Chairman of H/L. “A testament to the success of our program is that we hire our interns. Last year, we hired 40% of our interns as full-time employees. One of the best aspects of the Kinetic Academy is that it fosters a close-knit community—our interns develop friendships and tend to stay connected with each other and with us even after the internship ends. We look forward to welcoming these new participants into the H/L family.”
